Rule 56
<br> that can be directly queried
The Speaker may set the first hour of the first meeting held on the first and third week of every month to ask questions on important matters directly related to the Prime Minister or the ministries within his jurisdiction. But if the meeting cannot be held on that day for any reason, then the first hour of the meeting can be determined.
(2) At the time specified in sub-rule (1), the speaker will call the name of the questioning member.
(3) The member whose name has been called according to sub-rule (2) may stand in his place and question the Prime Minister.
(4) The prime minister should immediately answer the question as per sub-rule (3). However, this bye-law shall not be deemed to prevent any other minister appointed by the Prime Minister in the absence of the Prime Minister with the permission of the Speaker to answer the matters related to the ministries within the Prime Minister's jurisdiction.
(5) When questioning under this rule, only ten members at most can ask questions in a day's meeting and after answering the question asked by one member, the name of the next questioning member will be called.
